PACK Coaching Staff Achievements

Our entire PACK coaching staff has now become Level 2 or above certified by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA).  ASCA is a professional organization that drives much of the professional development for caoches across the country.  ASCA certification is based on education, experience and achievement of coaches.   This past year, the caoching staff completed courses in Dryland Training, Level 2 Stroke School and Writing & Managing Workouts as part of their continued professional development.

Recently, Coach Mike, our Head Coach was selected as one of the 2010 USA Swimming Southern Zone Select Camp Coaches.  He will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky May 26th - 30th to work with some of the nation's best swimmers.

Coach Mike has also had several articles that he wrote published by the American Swim Coaches Association this past year, including "Impact of Parent Discussions in Front of Children" published in an ASCA journal and an inspirational article titled "My Man Dan", published in the ASCA weekly newsletter that goes out to swim clubs across the country.
