parent in organized swimming since 1998. He has assumed many
roles, from president of a neighborhood swim team and president of
the high school swim booster club all the way down to the most
menial activities that help make a swim team successful. But
Jeff’s perspective with PACK is unique as he now plays the
role of a parent whose son has completed the program to the highest
level and has moved on to college swimming. Jeff’s
experiences with young people extend far beyond PACK and include
teaching eighth grade, working with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts
as well as numerous other activities. Jeff’s
perspective on the board is tempered by a view that swimming is
about kids and helping them grow and that growth extends far beyond
the natatorium.
